The ministry of By Grace was birthed in 2005, a couple years after Amos’ conversion on August eighth, 2002. The following December he was married to a young lady. Nine days later their world fell in when they had an accident and his young bride was killed.
Amos and Margaret moved to South Carolina from Indian in 2006 to work along with Gospel Express Ministries singing and preaching in prisons and churches across the country and in Canada.
Three years and two sons later, they now sense the call of God to slow down from their full time traveling. They now live in Indiana as of May 2009 and are still utilizing their gifts in local and distant travels as requests come in.
Amos Raber enjoys his gift of songwriting and singing the yesteryear style of country bluegrass music. But it doesn’t hinder him from walking in the calling God has on his life to preach the Gospel to a lost and dying world and calling Christians to Life in Godliness and Holiness!
God works in mysterious ways! There was at the same time, a young lady whom God was preparing as she grieved the loss of her boyfriend of three months in a plane crash. Amos and Margaret had never met, but as God would have it, He brought them together. They were married in 2005.
